Founded in 1902, Brisbane Boys’ College (BBC) is a non-selective independent school for boys from Prep to Year 12, with boarding available from Year 7. It is a school of the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA) and a founding member of the Greater Public Schools’ Association Inc (GPS).

The College is recognised as a well-established day and boarding school with an enviable reputation for academic, cultural, service, spiritual and sporting performance, and is a school of rich and proud traditions, from the distinctive boater boys wear to the bagpipes and drums played at significant occasions.

Brisbane Boys’ College has long been educating young men to equip them with the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to realise their potential and thrive in the modern world. The College community takes great pride in seeing boys confidently navigate their way through their schooling and move capably into the world as Old Collegians who can positively contribute to society on a local, national and international scale.

Brisbane Boys College has a deep history of philanthropy, and this work is guided forward by the BBC Foundation Limited.  Through the establishment of the Foundation’s Bursary Fund, BBC is committed to providing equal opportunities for students from every background. Our values of academic excellence, social justice and equality attract and retain students who aspire to achieve the highest standards through a BBC education.  By offering bursaries for boys who may otherwise be unable to access a BBC education, we provide opportunities for them to reach their full potential and carve out a bright future for themselves.

The establishment of the Foundation’s Building Fund enables donors to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the physical landscape of BBC.  The original BBC school building, first opened in Toowong in 1931, is heritage-listed, and is a beautiful and iconic Brisbane landmark.   The school has expanded over the years, with many more buildings being added to accommodate the growing demand.  Donations to the Building Fund enable the College to continue providing the best learning, living and leisure environments for all students through the maintenance and innovation of campus facilities.

A bequest made in your Will, no matter the size, is an opportunity to invest in the future of BBC. It will make a lasting difference in young men’s lives, and enable you to leave a legacy of compassion and care that will live on for many years to come.

We are delighted to be a member of the AISUSA Foundation, and are most grateful for all gifts from our supporters across the USA.
