Kambala is an independent girls school located in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, overlooking the iconic Sydney harbour. Kambala is a vibrant independent day and boarding school for girls which has been educating the ‘whole girl’ for over 130 years.
The traditions and heritage we have inherited from our founders are, today, among our School’s greatest assets. We take great care in our stewardship of our founders’ mission to educate the whole girl through inspired learning, academic excellence, and empowering young women of integrity. We are fortunate that we can draw on the lessons and learnings of our School’s forebears, recognising they were very much of their time, while looking forward and honouring our mission to nurture and challenge every girl to realise her full potential for personal and academic excellence.
Kambala has strengthened its reputation for academic excellence and the education of the whole girl through continually evolving teaching and learning practices, improving facilities and expanding the opportunities provided to students.

Opportunities for Giving
Donations in support of Kambala provide long-term financial independence and further develop Kambala’s outstanding facilities and educational environment. Students today are the beneficiaries of past generosity which has enabled the school to provide the highest education possible.
Donations to Kambala via the AIS USA Foundation can be directed towards:
Scholarships and Bursaries – scholarships and bursaries offer girls, who would otherwise not have the opportunity, to access the outstanding Kambala experience, while at the same time providing a significant contribution to the School.
Building Fund – supporting Kambala in this way ensures the continuation of upgrades and enhancements to the site reflecting the Kambala standard of excellence.
