The Xavier College Foundation was established in 1978 as a company limited by guarantee. Since its inception, the Foundation has gratefully received donations, bequests and other gifts which have enabled the building-up of a corpus of funds. The income derived from these funds enables the Foundation to support the College broadly and ensures the provision of an increasing number of scholarships and bursaries, the expansion of curriculum programs and provide assistance in the building of new facilities.
The Foundation’s sole purpose has been to support the Mission of Xavier College, particularly those priorities emerging from the school’s Jesuit ethos. The ultimate goal is to assist in the long term financial security of the College, essential in maintaining its pursuit of excellence. Additionally it seeks to improve accessibility to the College.
